How do I update my Kloxo installation? Print

Kloxo is updated seperately from your typical package management system. You can upgrade your Kloxo install three ways:

1) Automatically via Kloxo (Recommend method)

2) Through the HyperVM interface

3) Through the SSH console

Upgrading Kloxo automatically via Kloxo Control Panel

The Kloxo Control Panel can check for updates and automatically install them. To activate this option, log in to your Kloxo Control Panel and scroll to General Options. Enable Automatic Update and save your settings. Kloxo will automatically upgrade when a new stable version is released.

Upgrading Kloxo through the HyperVM Interface

Begin by logging in to your Packhead Hosting client portal. Choose the Services -> My Services link at the top, and then the View Details button for the appropriate VPS. Choose Login to HyperVM. Next, click on the Kloxo tab at the top of the control panel page. Finally, choose Update Home and press the Upgrade button to begin the upgrade.

Depending on how old of a Kloxo install currently on your VPS, you may have to upgrade multiple times to get to the latest version.

Upgrade Kloxo through the SSH Console

Login to your VPS through SSH. Type cd /script and then ./upcp. This will update the Kloxo install on your VPS. Depending on how hold of a Kloxo install currently on your VPS, you may have to upgrade multiple times to get to the latest version.
